Sonya Merritt is a native of the seacoast and a lifelong student.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire, and her graduate degree in Education from Southern New Hampshire University.  Sonya's first career spanned thirteen years at a Fortune 500 financial services company.  After a series of progressively more responsible positions, she was promoted to an executive management consultant.  An adept disciple of human dynamics and communication, Sonya made her mark by helping to align behaviors with goals.

She is one of the co-founders of Wei Chi Healing - a powerful process of facilitated introspection that combines life coaching with the healing energy of reiki.  Her insightful perspective, analytical finesse and compassionate reasons are now being introduced to effect pronounced personal change.  Sonya works with individuals, groups and couples in the areas of personal growth (change management, dream fulfillment and emotional healing) and holistic health (meditation, guided imagery and conscious living.

Sonya lives in Durham, NH with her family, and is thrilled that the once private dream of a healing practice is now a reality at Sonya's Healing Garden.
